New Day 2 Lateral Flow Test

Can I Use The Same Lateral Flow Test for a Day 2 and a Fit to Fly Test?

Yes, if you're only in the UK for a short time and providing the time-frame for your trip allows both tests to be valid, you can use one testing kit for both purposes. Please check on the Government website for how far in advance your destination asks for your lateral flow test to be taken and what kind of lateral flow test is acceptable.

What Should I Do if my Lateral Flow Test if Positive?

If your test is positive, you should report it in the normal way and then follow the recommended protocol for the country you're in. In the UK, there is advice on the NHS website.

How Can I Fill in a Passenger Locator Form?

The Passenger Locator Form can be found on the Government website. Follow this link to fill in your Passenger Locator Form.

Who Can Take a New Day 2 Lateral Flow Test?

The New Day 2 Lateral Flow Test can be bought and used by travellers coming into England who are double vaccinated.

You can read more about the types of vaccines that are acceptable and the rules about travelling with children and young people on the Government Website.

How Does the Process Work?

Your kit contains everything you need to complete and register your test, as well as detailed instructions. You will need to take and upload several photographs at different stages of the test, so make sure you read the instructions through to the end before beginning the process.

When Will I Get my Passenger Locator Form Number?

When you buy your test, you will immediately be emailed a Booking Reference Number, which is sometimes called a Passenger Locator Form Number. It is made up of 5 Letters and 7 Numbers and starts with PHSCL. Keep this number safe as you will need it when you take your test. If you are having trouble locating your number, please check your Junk Email folder, or get in touch with a member of the team.
